Lydia's Music Bio
Lydia was born into a large musical family. She grew up traveling around the world with her family, singing and playing music together. She began studying piano at age four, and violin at age ten. 

When she was eleven years old, she got accepted into The Barthelmes Conservatory of Music in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she studied piano with Dr. Allyson Eskitch for several yearsLydia started teaching piano and violin when she was just fifteen years old. 

At age seventeen, Lydia got accepted on a full scholarship to The University of Tulsa where she studied piano with Dr. Roger Price. Lydia played both piano and violin in the TU orchestra. While in college, Lydia won several piano competitions including piano winner of the OCO Concerto Competition, 2nd place winner in the Hyechka Collegiate Piano Competition, and winner of the TU Concerto-Aria Competition where she performed a piano concerto with the TU orchestra. Lydia also received $4000 when she won the faculty-voted Presser Foundation Award for the highest achieving Junior music student. Lydia enjoyed attending several intensive summer music festivals where she studied with renowned musicians from around the world.

In 2019, Lydia spent a semester abroad in Saint-Petersburg, Russia studying Russian and continuing her piano studies with Russian music teachers. She graduated in the spring of 2020 with a double-major in Piano Performance and Russian Studies.

Lydia has worked at Tulsa Ballet as a piano accompanist, Oklahoma Music Academy as a piano teacher, and Holy Family Cathedral as an elementary violin teacher. She also continues to teach private piano and violin lessons out of her home studio in Tulsa.
